Tessa and Aunty Mels spend the day together, cuddled up on the sofa. They watch movies, read books and later, take Sherlock for a walk in the park. Momma meets them at the end of the afternoon. Tessa can see Momma is tired from her day at work, but still, she runs to them and lifts Tessa off her feet in a massive hug. They buy Chinese food from the local takeout on their way home and eat it straight from the plastic trays, balanced on their laps.

Tessa feels tired well before her usual bedtime. Her mother tucks her under the covers and tells her how much she loves her before she turns out the bedroom light. Sherlock sleeps soundly at the foot of her bed, guarding her like he always does.
